Specifications for DAN Articles

Tim Frampton gives the following guidelines for material intended for publication in DAN:

1. Articles should preferably be word processed and sent either by email or on a floppydisc/CD. I cannot scan hard copy text in a suitable format to copy into the DAN.
2. Please send images, pictures, diagrams and maps as jpeg files. When producing the images please use as high a resolution as possible. For example when taking pictures set the camera to the highest resolution.
3. If this is not possible please send clear original photos, diagrams and maps. I can scan these.
4. As far as possible please use black ink when producing diagrams and hand drawn maps. Other colours do not scan as efficiently
5. If sending articles by electronic means please post me a hard copy as backup and to aid clarification of how the article should appear.
