NEW MEMBERSHIP Applications
Membership is open to any person who owns, sails in, or is in any other way interested in Drascombe boats and those boats inspired by,
and/or made in accordance with the designs and specifications of John Watkinson. On payment of the first annual subscription,
each new member receives a copy of the current magazine together with an index of the articles published in earlier issues
(which can be provided for a nominal charge), a register of members, a copy of the Association rules and a membership sticker.
The quarterly magazine then keeps members advised of Association affairs.
If you know someone who wishes to join but does not have access to this web site, print this page then click through to the appropriate form,
print it out and ask them to complete it. UK and Eire applications have in any case to be submitted in the post.
The annual subscription is £10.00 for members living in the UK. If you live outside the United Kingdom then please follow the links to the relevant country page
below where subscription amounts and payment details are set out. Please do not send any payments without also completing the appropriate form.
Joint Membership. Members who normally sail with their spouse or other relative are encouraged to give their name for the register in the informal joint form e.g. “Jack & Jill Pail”.
However, only the first named will be a full member entitled to vote and sign rally application forms. A couple who both wish to be
regarded as full members may either join separately or, if they are content to share one quarterly Drascombe Association News (DAN) between them,
they may elect to pay a joint concessionary subscription of one and a half times the subscription that applies to their country of residence.
UK Applicants will find Joint Membership forms on the UK application pages. Non UK residents wishing to register joint full membership should contact
the Membership Secretary for an appropriate form.
Note that your application is dealt with by volunteers. Typically you will receive a response within 10 days. Occasionally it may take
longer if the membership secretary has been away sailing or on holiday.
