2000 Photo Competition

A typically varied crop of Drascombe pictures has helped to warm the cold, wet days of winter. To have the photos drop through the letter box is always a delight. To mount the display, a labour of love. So thanks to all those who supported the competition this year.

As could be seen from the display, every aspect of Drascombe activity was portrayed in the entries. Sitting around, eating, gazing at sunsets, sleeping, lying alongside, drying out, waiting for some wind, admiring the views, chilling out .... even sailing!

Unusually, there didn't seem to us to be a picture which stood out as a winner. So we decided to avoid a tricky decision by submitting the entries to a popular vote of those attending the AGM. Members seemed to enjoy expressing their preferences and, with not a dimpled chad in sight, came up with the following results as shown at right.

Congratulaflons to all ~ and our lhanks to Graham Brown Insurance Brokers for again providing the prizes.
