We are having increasing problems in cashing Euro cheques due to money laundering rules. We have arrangements for those living in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and the Republic of Ireland to pay their subscriptions locally in Euros. Contact myself or the Treasurer for details if you are interested in taking advantage of this option.
Other members without UK bank accounts are asked to pay by means of PayPal in pounds sterling, US dollars or Euros. Opening a PayPal account is comparatively straight forward online at www.paypal.com State that you want to pay the “Drascombe Association” and quote the email address:
Please pay on time. The May DAN will not be sent to those who fail to pay promptly.

Those members (pre 1 Nov 2006) who have U.K. Bank Accounts but pay by cheque may continue to do so as long as their cheques are received on time. Non – payment will be considered as a lapsed subscription in line with Rule 8 (b). Lapsed members wishing to rejoin will only be accepted if paying by Standing Order.
REGISTER OF MEMBERS & DAN INDEX
This is updated annually and the 2008 edition will be available in early March. It includes, as well as an up-to-date list of members and their boats, an Index of all the major articles published in DAN and tells you how you can obtain reprints of these as well as copies of earlier DAN`s still in stock. This is a free service to members.
